The Route 66 Museum is truly unique in that it is a museum of history, housed in the historical Powerhouse building, located in the "heart" of the longest remaining stretch of the 2400 miles that was Route 66. Discover the Frontier Days, Great Depression, the automobile age, watch a movie at the cinema, and take a tour of downtown Kingman as seen during the 1950's.


Facilities: Restrooms are provided at Route 66 Museum.

Best Time To Visit: Route 66 Museum is open from 9 to 6 daily. (5pm Dec.-Feb.)

Fees: Admission is charged. Children 12 and under get in free.

Accessibility: This museum is wheelchair accessible.

Rules: Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Directions: Route 66 Museum is located on Historic Route 66 in the Powerhouse Visitor Center in downtown Kingman, across from Locomotive Park and a block from the Mohave Museum of History & Arts.
