| Facilities: Drinking water and barrier free restrooms are provided at Rose Canyon Campground. Supplies are available in Catalina. Best Time To Visit: Rose Canyon Campground is normally open Mid-April through October. It is accessible with limited services beyond these dates. Fees: A fee is charged for use of the area. Accessibility: Two campsites and the restrooms are handicap accessible. Rules: If you visit during this off-season, you must pack out everything you pack in. Directions: To get to Rose Canyon Campground from Tucson, take Tanque Verde Road east to the Catalina Highway. Turn left (north) onto Catalina Highway, and drive 4.2 miles to the Forest boundary. Then continue up the scenic Highway 17.5 miles. Turn left off the Catalina Highway into the Campground.
