Drive only on designated roads.Directions: To get to River Island Unit from Lake Havasu City: start out going east on Mescal Loop, Turn left on Smoke Tree Avenue. Turn left on Acoma BLVD, turn left on Maricopa Avenue. Turn right on McCulloch BLVD, turn left onto AZ-95. Buckskin Mountain State Park is located on Arizona Highway 95, about 12 miles north of Parker. The River Island unit is one mile north of Buckskin Mountain State Park.
