The Rim Campground is set among ponderosa pines, with Willow Springs Lake and Woods Canyon Lake nearby. Rim Lakes Vista Trail provides spectacular views of the Mogollon Rim. The General Crook National Recreation Trail is approximately 1 mile from the campground.


Facilities: Drinking water is available at Rim Campground. Other supplies are available 7 miles east at Forest Lakes.

Best Time To Visit: Rim Campground's best times to visit is generally mid-May to the weekend after Labor Day.

Fees: A camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible.

Rules: Parallel parking only. This campground is located within the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest; forest regulations apply.

Directions: To reach Rim Campground start out on AZ-73. Merge right to az-260. Turn left on AZ-260. Rim Campground is one mile north of State Highway 260 towards Woods Canyon Lake on Forest Road 300. Forest Road 300 is located directly across from the Rim Visitor Information Station or 25 miles west of Heber, Arizona.
