The Ranch Trail is 3.2 miles long and climbs over 900 feet. The trail tread is generally 50 inches wide with general slope of over 10% and occasional pitches of 20%. Cross slope varies from 0% to 10%, inconsistently. This trail offers panoramic views to the east/northeast of Lynx Lake, Lynx Creek drainage area, Prescott Valley and distant mountain ranges.

Facilities: Restrooms are provided at the northern trailhead of Ranch Trail.

Best Time To Visit: Ranch Trail is open year round, but please do not bring your horses if the soil is wet.

Fees: A nominal fee is charged to enter this area.

Accessibility: This trail is not handicap accessible.

Rules: Unknown

Directions: To reach Ranch Trail from downtown Prescott, travel east on Gurley Street which becomes Highway 69 toward Prescott Valley 4.1 miles to Walker Road (County Road 57). Turn south on Walker Road for 0.5 miles to the signed TR 62 turnoff for the northern (lower) trailhead parking lot on the right.
