Groom Creek Nature Trail #310 travels through a stand of ponderosa pine trees, making it possible for disabled recreationists to enjoy the smells and sounds of a quiet forest setting.
A brochure describing the trail (in Braille or printed type) is available from Bradshaw Ranger Station. Historic Groom Creek Schoolhouse is adjacent to the trailhead. Originally built of wood around 1896, the schoolhouse was rebuilt of native stone during the early 1930s. The structure served as a school until 1952. Today it is a Forest Service administrative site and is not open to the public.
Both flat and paved, this 0.25-mile loop trail is easy to traverse.

Vernon (Senator Highway/FR 52) south 6.5 miles to Groom Creek. Go 0.3 miles beyond Friendly Pines Road and turn left at the sign to Groom Creek School House. Follow the loop road to the left.
