| Facilities: Restrooms and drinking water is available at Potato Patch Family Campground as well as picnic tables, fire rings, and trash cans. Best Time To Visit: Potato Patch is a seasonal campground which is open May 1 through October 30. Fees: A nightly camping fee is charged. Accessibility: Three sites and two toilets on loop A are accessible to the handicapped. Two sites and one toilet on loop B are accessible. Rules: Maximum length of stay is 14 days. Directions: To reach Potato Patch Family Campground from Prescott, take U.S. Highway 89 north through the Granite Dells, turn right onto Pioneer Parkway and travel approximately 20 miles to the top of Mingus Mountain. Potato Patch Campground entrance will be on the left at the summit on Forest Road 106. To reach Potato Patch Family Campground from Cottonwood, turn left at the junction of U.S. Highway 260 and U.S. Highway 89A, and follow the paved and winding mountain road through the town of Jerome up to the summit on Mingus Mountain.
