| Facilities: Unknown Best Time To Visit: Best time to visit Pine Flat Trail is usually spring, fall and winter. Fees: No fees are charged. Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible. Rules: This trail lies within the Pine Mountain Wilderness and the use of any motorized or mechanized equipment, including bicycles, are prohibited. Directions: To access the trails in the Pine Mountain area from Cottonwood, exit the I-17 Freeway at the Dugas Interchange. From there take the road to Dugas (Forest Road 68) southeast for 18 miles to the trailhead for the Nelson Trail about 1.25 miles east of the Double-T Ranch on Sycamore Creek. You will have to travel Nelson Trail for about 0.8 miles to where Nelson Trail intersects with Pine Flat Trail at the junction of Beehouse Canyon and Sycamore Creek.
