| Facilities: There is potable water, in season, as well as primitive toilets and trash dumpsters. Campsites have fire rings and tables. Supplies are available at Greer. Firewood is sold by a concessionaire. Best Time To Visit: Benny Creek Campground is open May through September. The gate to the campground is generally locked through the rest of the year; but there is no fee camping after mid October. Expect some heavy rain through July and August. Fees: An overnight camping fee is charged. Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible. Rules: Pets must be restrained or on a leash. This campground is located within the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests; forest regulations apply. Directions: To reach Benny Creek Campground from Springerville, take state Hwy 260 to state Hwy 373 towards Greer. The campground is located just off State Highway 373, about 2.5 miles north of Greer.
