The Phippen Art Museum features contemporary and historic art of the American West and sponsors the annual Phippen Museum Fine Art Show and Sale on Memorial Day Weekend. The museum is a fine arts museum whose purpose is to enhance the quality of cultural life in central Arizona for its members and the public through exhibits and educational programs featuring the collectors, artists, art and history of the American West, and to collect and preserve fine art and artifacts.
Phippen Art Museum offers a picnic/barbeque area as well as a beautiful view. Also available are educational resources, and a research library.

Facilities: Restrooms are available in Phippen Museum. The museum also offers a store.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted for Phippen Museum.

Best Time To Visit: The Phippen Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 am - 4 pm; Sunday, 1 pm - 4 pm. Open Monday by appointment only. Docent tours can be arranged. Call the museum.

Fees: Admission fees are charged.

Accessibility: The Phippen Museum is handicapped accessible. A wheelchair is available.

Rules: No photographs allowed. No food or drink permitted in the museum.

Directions: The Phippen Museum is located 7 scenic miles north of the Courthouse plaza in downtown Prescott, Arizona. From the downtown area, take Highway 89 North past the Granite Dells. The museum is on the right.
