Perkins Tank is a three-acre trout lake located in the south part of Kaibab National Forest in Game Management Unit 8, south of Williams.

Perkins Tank is a blue-ribbon trout fishery. As such, anglers at the Tank are limited to using artificial flies and lures with single barbless hooks. All trout caught must be immediately released.

Perkins Tank was recently drained to remove green sunfish that were illegally stocked into this blue-ribbon trout fishery.

Perkins tank is about 3 acres in size and fed by a natural spring. The average depth is 10 feet. The lake is at 6,800 feet in elevation.

Facilities: No facilities are available at Perkins Tank. Facilities can be found in nearby Williams.

Best Time To Visit: Perkins Tank is open year round, however the road may become impassible during the winter.

Fees: There are no fees to fish in this lake.

Accessibility: The area is not accessible.

Rules: Anglers are limited to using artificial flies and lures with single barbless hooks. All trout caught must be immediately released.

Directions: To reach Perkins Tank from Williams, travel south and follow all signage for "White Horse Lake". Before reaching White Horse Lake, turn right on Forest Road #110. Stay on Forest Road #110. Perkins Tank will be on the right.
