Named for Gustav and Julius Becker, Becker Lake is the oldest man-made lake in Arizona. The 85 acres of Becker Lake is at 6,900 feet elevation. Located two miles northwest of Springerville, off U. S. 60, this lake is known for large rainbow trout, and brown trout.


Facilities: Restrooms and lodging are provided at Becker Lake.

Best Time To Visit: Rainbow trout season at Becker Lake is the first Friday in April to November 30.

Fees: No fees are charged.

Accessibility: This lake is not handicap accessible.

Rules: Live bait fishing is prohibited. This lake is known for large rainbow trout, but no special regulations are in effect.

Directions: Becker Lake is located two miles northwest of Springerville, off U.S. 60.
