The Beaver Creek Campground is set in a desert of sycamores, Arizona cypress, cottonwood, juniper, cacti, and sandstone rock formations on Beaver Creek. Fishing is available for rainbow trout and bass. A prehistoric rock art site is nearby. Beaver Creek Wilderness, Bell, Walker Basin, and Long Canyon Trails are nearby. Raccoon, javelinas, and snakes are commonly seen in this area.


Facilities: Drinking water, a picnic area and toilets are provided at Beaver Creek Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Beaver Creek Campground is open year-round.

Fees: An overnight camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible.

Rules: The maximum length of stay is 14 days. Beaver Creek Campground is located within the Coconino National Forest; forest regulations apply.

Directions: To reach Beaver Creek Campground from Cottonwood take state Hwy 260 to Camp Vered. From Camp Verde go North o I-17 12 miles to Sedona interchange. Go East on forest route 618 for 2 miles to the campground.
