The Muggins Mountains Wilderness includes a cluster of rugged peaks at the western end of the Muggins Mountains, the most prominent being Muggins Peak, Klothos Temple, and Long Mountain. Twin Tanks Wash, Long Mountain Wash, Morgan Wash, and other deeply cut drainages dissect the peaks. The rugged landform and colorful geologic strata of the Muggins Mountains are considered exceptionally scenic for the region.
