Best Time To Visit: Mogollon Campground is open the first of May to end of October, weather permitting. Fees: A camping fee is charged. Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible. Rules: This campground is located within the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest; forest regulations apply. Directions: To reach Mogollon Campground from Payson: Head towards Woods Canyon Lake on Forest Road 300. Forest Road 300 is located directly across from the Rim Visitor Information Station or 25 miles west of Heber, AZ.
