| Facilities: Restrooms and campsites are provided at Mittry Lake Wildlife Area. Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted to use Mittry Lake Wildlife Area. Best Time To Visit: Mittry Lake Wildlife Area is open year round. Fees: No fee required for camping, day use, or boat launching. Accessibility: Vault toilet and one fishing jetty are accessible. Rules: Camping is limited to 10 days per calendar year. One central trash collection point requires that visitors pack out their own trash. Use of all sites is on a first-come, first-served basis. This lake is closed to water skiing but open to pleasure and fishing boat use. Fishermen must have Arizona fishing license or California fishing license with Colorado River Stamp. Directions: To reach Mittry Lake Wildlife Area take AZ Highway 95 east 7 miles from Yuma, AZ. Turn north on Avenue 7E, go north 9 1/2 miles to pavement end. Continue on and Mittry Lake begins approximately 1/2 mile past end of pavement. |
