| Facilities: Lynx North shore day-use site has picnic tables, toilets, and drinking water available seasonally. There are two nearby campgrounds. Best Time To Visit: Lynx Lake Recreation Area is open all year. Fees: A daily parking fee is charged at all developed day-use sites. Wednesdays are always free. No parking fees are charged on any Wednesday. No parking fees are charged for visitors arriving on foot or bicycle. Accessibility: Areas are accessible. Rules: The State of Arizona fishing license and trout stamp are required for anglers age 14 and over. Bag limits are 6 trout per day; 6 bass per day; and unlimited on crappie. The use of boat motors on properly licensed watercraft is limited to electrically powered models. Non-motorized, oar, paddle, or sail-powered boats are also permitted. Pets must be on-leash at all times.Directions: Access is by paved road. To reach Lynx Lake Recreation Area from the city of Prescott, go east on Highway 69 for 4.9 miles to the Walker Road (Forest Road 197). Follow this road for 3 miles to the campground entrance sign.
