Luna Lake Campground is located in a relatively open stand of ponderosa pine and is the largest campground on the Alpine District. The campground is within walking distance of Luna Lake, which has good rainbow trout fishing. Various wildlife reside in this area, and a system of trails is near the campground as well.
There are 50 single sites and 3 group sites (1 large group site "A", 2 smaller group sites). This campground is for those who enjoy camping in a semi-developed area.
Tents, trailers, and motorhomes up to 32 foot are welcome at Luna Lake Campground. There is convenient motor home/trailer parking with lots of pull-through sites. In addition, Luna Lake Campground offers picnic facilities: ramadas with tables and toilet that are handicapped accessible.
Luna Lake offers a tackle shop and boat rental concessionaire at lake as well as a public boat ramp.
