Large gambel oak and sycamore trees shade the Lower Juan Miller Campground. An old, hand dug cistern can be seen north of the campground. This campground is seldom full. Campers may gather dead and down firewood.
There are 4 single sites available. This campground is for those who enjoy camping in a semi-developed area.


Facilities: Supplies are available in Morenci. No drinking water available on site.

Best Time To Visit: Lower Juan Miller Campground is open January through December, unless access road is closed by snow.

Fees: No fees are charged.

Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible.

Directions: Lower Juan Campground is located 93 miles south of Springerville, AZ, via US Highway 191 and Forest Road 475. Just 1/4 mile away from the Upper Juan Miller CG.
