The Los Burros Campground is located in Aspen at the edge of a large meadow. The campground is near a historic ranger station. The Los Burros Trail is nearby.
There are 10 single sites available. This campground is for those who enjoy camping in a semi-developed area.


Facilities: There is one vault toilet at Los Burros Campground. No drinking water is available on site. There is no garbage service. Supplies and groceries are available 6 miles south at McNary.

Best Time To Visit: Los Burros Campground is open from May until October

Fees: An overnight camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible.

Rules: Please observe the 14-day stay limit.

Directions: To reach Los Burros Campground take the gravel road north from McNary (Forest Road 224) through the White Mountain Apache Reservation about 7 miles to the signed turnoff to Los Burros; turn right and proceed about 1/4 mile to the campground.
