The Lakeside Campground is situated near Rainbow Lake and in the midst of beautiful ponderosa pine. The campground is one of the oldest national Forest campgrounds in the state of Arizona. The campground is very popular and can be busy weekends and holidays.
There are 82 single sites available. This campground is for those who enjoy camping in a semi-developed area.


Facilities: Drinking water and vault toilets are available at Lakeside Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Lakeside Campground is open May 1 to September 31.

Fees: A camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible.

Rules: Pets must be restrained or on a leash. This campground is located within the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest; forest regulations apply.

Directions: To get to Lakeside Campground from Show Low: start out going west on US-60. Lakeside Campground Just across the highway south of the Lakeside Ranger Station on State Highway 260.
