The Kinnikinick Campground provides 18 single unit campsites. Drinking water, fire rings, and grills are provided at each site. This campground is located next to Kinnikinick Lake.
Kinnikinick Campground permits trailers, however, the layout of the campground makes it better suited to tents only.
The cold waters of Kinnikinick Lake are regularly stocked with rainbow, brown, and brook trout, while the surrounding area provides excellent opportunities for wildlife watching, with good populations of elk and a smaller number of antelope in residence.
In fall and winter, visitors may see bald eagles, which spend the season here fishing the open water of Kinnikinick Lake and surrounding lakes. The San Francisco Peaks stand on the horizon and the area is surrounded with prairies and weathered trees. Visitors enjoy many outdoor sports, including fishing, boating, camping, and hiking.
Motorhomes and trailers under 22' are permitted. However, the parking is alongside the tables and there are no spurs, or pull-through spaces at the campground.

Facilities: Restrooms, drinking water, fire rings, and cooking grills are provided.

Best Time To Visit: This attraction is generally open Mid-May to the end of September (weather permitting).

Fees: Overnight camping fees do apply.

Accessibility: This area is not accessible.

Rules: Pets must always be restrained or on a leash. Boat motor size limited to single 10 hp motor. No horses allowed in the campground. Motorbikes may only be used for entering or leaving campsite. Camping is not allowed outside of Kinnikinick Campground within a one-mile radius.

Directions: Drive 30 miles south of Flagstaff on Forest Highway 3 and turn east on Forest Road 125. Follow this road 4 miles to Forest Road 82 and turn southeast 5.5 miles to the campground. The road is very rough; high clearance vehicles are required.
