Rules: No motorized vehicles or mountain bikes are permitted in the Kendrick Mountain Wilderness. Hiking and horseback riding permitted only. Directions: To reach Kendrick Mountain Trail from Williams, take I-40 east to the Parks Exit (#178). Turn left back across the overpass, turn left at the "T" intersection, then turn right onto Forest Road 141 and continue north for about 8 miles; continue north on Forest Road 194 for about 4.5 miles to Forest Road 171. Turn right onto Forest Road 171 and go 2 miles to Forest Road 190; turn left onto Forest Road 190 and go 1 mile to the parking area. To reach Kendrick Mountain Trail from Flagstaff, take Hwy 180 to FR 193, about 10 miles north of the turnoff to Arizona Snowbowl; turn left on Forest Road193 and continue to Forest Road171; turn right on Forest Road171 and go 2 miles to Forest Road190; turn right on Forest Road190 and go 1 mile to the parking area.Map: Click here for a map to Kendrick Mountain Trail Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted. |
