Kellner Canyon Trail is a difficult 4.8-mile hike ranging from 5,200 to 1,960 feet in elevation. The trail is a continual climb through several different life zones, where vegetation types will change according to the elevation and aspect of the slope.


Facilities: There are no facilities at Kellner Canyon Trail.

Best Time To Visit: The trail is normally open spring through fall.

Fees: There are no fees charged to use this trail.

Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible.

Directions: From Globe: Drive south on Forest Route 112 for about 3.5 miles to Forest Route 55. Turn southwest and travel on 55 to its junction with Forest Route 651. Follow 651 to Kellner Trailhead, which is located on the north side of the road west of the Upper Icehouse Trailhead.
