Motorized vehicles must stay on maintained roadways. Obey all speed limits and watch for children at play! Littering is crime punishable with a maximum $2,500 fine in the City of Prescott! Parks generally close at 10p.m. A permit may be required for beer consumption in some parks. Directions: To reach Acker Park from East Gurley Street, turn south on South Virginia Street which is one block East of the historic Mt. Vernon Avenue. Drive all the way to the end of the paved road. Bear left where the road divides and you will see a dirt parking lot on the left with fencing and the park sign. Signs will easily direct you to picnic area and trailhead.
