Most provide beautiful panoramas of the lake or views of the boat harbor. Best Time To Visit: Katherine's Landing is open year-round, 24 hours, 7 days a week. Visitor center: The visitor center is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. every day except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day. Fees: Katherine's Landing is part of the Lake Mead National Recreation Area which has entrance and lake use fees. Daily and annual passes can be purchased at the entrance stations. Accessibility: The restrooms at the bookstore of the Katherine's Landing Ranger Station are ADA accessible. Rules: WARNING: Old mines can pose numerous threats to your safety. Do not climb on or around mine tailings as they are unstable and can collapse without warning. Stay on the designated trail. Stay away from all shaft openings and cliff edges and never crawl into any tunnels found in the tailings. Information stations are located on Lake Mead at Overton Beach, Echo Bay, Callville Bay, Las Vegas Bay in Nevada, and Temple Bar in Arizona. Contact stations on Lake Mohave are located at the Cottonwood Cove in Nevada, and both the Katherine's Landing and Willow Beach in Arizona. Katherine's Landing on Lake Mohave, Arizona, five miles from Laughlin, Nevada - Bullhead City, Arizona.To reach Katherine's Landing from the Phoenix area take Arizona 93 (Wickenburg Road) to I-40 to Kingman. Three miles north of Kingman turn left on Rte. 68 to turnoff to Katherine's Landing.Alternately, take I-10 west to Vicksburg exit. Cross Rte. 60 to Arizona 72 through Bouse and on to Parker.
