The 14-mile Juniper Ridge Trail passes through several types of vegetation including pinon-juniper, pine-oak, and manzanita scrub.
There are several good views of the surrounding areas from Juniper Ridge Lookout. The tower is used during the peak fire season, and visitors are welcome.
The rocky trail and the heat may be more difficult for bikers and equestrians. There is a short loop for those who don't want to do the full fourteen miles. It cuts the trail roughly in half.
Accepted uses of Juniper Ridge Trail are hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking.
