The Honeymoon Campground is a quiet, remote site with lots of shade provided by sycamore and cottonwood trees along with pinon and juniper trees. The campground is next to Eagle Creek, offering many recreational opportunities. Wildlife in the area includes raptors, deer, wild turkeys, and javelinas.


Facilities: Supplies are available in Morenci.

Best Time To Visit: May through September is the recommended time to visit the Honeymoon Campground.

Fees: No fees are charged.

Accessibility: This area is handicap accessible.

Rules: Pack in/pack out campground.

Directions: Honeymoon Campground is 50 miles northwest of Clifton, via US Highway 191 and Forest Road 217.
