Grayling Campground is set in a grove of conifer and aspen, offering perhaps the most secluded sites in the Big Lake complex. Be prepared for rain, often heavy, through July and August. Also expect cool to cold nighttime temperatures.
Fishing, boating, camping, picnicking, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, bird watching, and wildlife viewing are available close by, as is Mt. Baldy Wilderness Area. There are also scheduled programs at Visitor's Center and a full service store at Big Lake. Grayling Campground also offers campground hosts to help campers find a suitable campsite.
There are 23 single sites available. This campground is for those who enjoy camping in a semi-developed area. Bears may sometimes pose a problem.
