| Facilities: Boat rentals are provided at Goldwater Lake during the summer. Restrooms and picnic tables are provided at Goldwater Lake Park. There are also stand barbeques, trash service, a pay phone, vending machines, a sand volleyball court, a children's playground, and the adjacent lake. Best Time To Visit: Summer hours (Memorial Day to Labor Day): 6:00 A.M.-10:00 P.M. Off season hours (Labor Day to Memorial Day) 8:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. The park is open 365 days a year. Fees: Fees are charged at Goldwater Lake Park and Goldwater Lake. The City of Prescott is issuing tickets for vehicles that fail to pay the day use fees. Accessibility: There are accessible docks and there are paved sidewalks leading though the park to the lake. Restrooms are also accessible. Rules: A valid Arizona fishing license is required to fish at Goldwater Lake. A valid trout stamp is also required for trout. No gasoline motors are permitted. Directions: To reach Goldwater Lake from the Court House Plaza in downtown Prescott travel east on Gurley Street and turn south onto Mt. Vernon Avenue. Mt. Vernon Avenue turns into Senator Highway, follow Senator Highway south about 4 miles to the entrance of the lake. Turn right and park in the designated parking spots only.
