Gentry Campground is set among ponderosa pine. Fishing and boating is popular at Black Canyon Lake, which is located 4.5 miles northeast of campground. Please check fishing regulations. Enjoy a visit to the Gentry Lookout, which is located nearby.
There are 6 single sites available. This campground is for the primitive camper.


Facilities: Vault toilets are provided at Gentry Campground. No drinking water is available.

Best Time To Visit: Gentry Campground is open year-round as access permits.

Fees: No fees are charged.

Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible.

Rules: Stay away from lookout tower during lighting storms. This campground is located in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest; Forest regulations apply.

Directions: To reach Gentry Campground from Show Low, follow AZ 260 west to Heber-Overgaard. Continue to follow AZ 260 to Forest RSoad 300 (approximately 13 miles) Gentry Campground is approximately 5 miles south of the junction of State Highway 260 and Forest Road 300.
