The Reef Town Site Campground is a high mountain campground located on a site that was once occupied by the old Reef town site. Picnic tables and tent pads are located within the visible outlines of old cabin foundations. Interpretive history trail, hiking, and horseback trails are located nearby.


Facilities: Facilities include toilets, garbage bins, drinking water, 2 grills and 2 food prep tables. Supplies may be found in Sierra Vista.

Best Time To Visit: The Reef Town Site Campground is generally open spring through fall.

Fees: Fees are charged for staying at the Reef Town Site Campground.

Accessibility: Unknown

Rules: The maximum RV size is 12 feet.

Directions: From Tucson, Drive east on Interstate 10 to the State Route 90 (exit 302). Drive south 25 miles through Sierra Vista. After traveling Eight miles south of Sierra Vista on State Highway 92, turn west onto Carr Canyon Road (FR 368).
