| Facilities: Restrooms, drinking water, and over 20 individual camping sites are provided at Verde River Greenway Trail. Best Time To Visit: Verde River Greenway Trail is open 365 days a year. The Ranger Station opens at 8:00 a.m. except on Christmas Day. Fees: Daily entrance and camping fees apply. Accessibility: This trail is not handicap accessible. Rules: Pets must be kept on leash and not left unattended. Park stay is limited to 15 days in a 30 day period.Vehicles must be parked on the paved surface within each designated site.Swimming and boating are prohibited in the west lagoon.Loaded firearms are prohibited in the park.Directions: To reach the Verde River Greenway Trail from Sedona: From I-17 take (exit 287) Highway 260 to Cottonwood. Highway. 260 intersects with 89A/Main Street. Turn left on Main Street and proceed to North 10th Street. Turn right (north) on North 10th Street. Continue on North 10th across the Verde River Bridge to the park entrance. To reach the Verde River Greenway Trail from Cottonwood: Turn left on Main Street and proceed to North 10th Street. Turn right (north) on North 10th Street.
