Flowing Spring Campground is located on the East Verde River with views of rock formations and pastoral scenes, trout fishing is popular on the river. Bears frequent the area, so regulations are in effect. Use caution during rainy seasons, as all Arizona Creeks are prone to flash flooding.
This site is for primitive campers only.


Facilities: There are no services or drinking water provided at the Flowing Spring Campground.

Best Time To Visit: The Flowing Spring Campground is open May through September.

Fees: No fees are charged at this campground.

Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible.

Rules: This campground is located in the Tonto National Forest; forest regulations apply.

Maximum length of stay is 14 days.

Directions: The Flowing Spring Campground is located approximately 6 miles North of Payson on State Highway 87.
