| Facilities: There are restrooms, campgrounds, and trails for Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. Best Time To Visit: Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument is open year round, but the visitor center is closed on Christmas day. Between October and April, visitors can expect sunny days in the 60s and 70s F and occasional light rains. From May through September temperatures often exceed 105 F and brief, violent thunderstorms sometimes occur. Nights are considerably cooler than days year-round. Please register at the visitor center between the hours of 8-5; after hours please self-register at the campground.Fees: Entry fees are charged. Accessibility: The visitor center, parking area, and rest rooms are handicapped accessible. The visitor center has a captioned slide program. There are accessible campsites, and the Ajo Mountain scenic drive has accessible rest rooms. Rules: Overnight backpackers require an Overnight Backcountry Permit.
