Desert View Campground, located at the east end of Grand Canyon National Park, offers 50 campsites overlooking the confluence of the Little Colorado and Colorado Rivers.
Campsites are available on a first come-first served-self-registration basis. The campground is usually full by early afternoon during the busy summer months.
The campground is within easy walking distance of Desert View Visitor Center and store. And it's just a half-mile from the Desert View overlook.
Desert View Campground has 50 campsites available. There is a 30-foot trailer or RV maximum size limit at Desert View Campground. Very few sites can accomodate trailers or RVs that size; smaller is better when visiting Desert View Campground.
A campground host is on site during the summer.

Facilities: Desert View Visitor Center and store are nearby. Toilets and drinking water is available at the campground. There are no utility, water, or sewer hook-ups available at the Desert View Campground (all campsites are dry sites). Each site does have a campfire grill for fires and cooking use and a picnic table. There are two water faucets located within the campground.
The restrooms have flushing toilets and sinks (with no hot water). There are no shower facilities at the Desert View Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Open mid-May through mid-October.

Fees: A nightly camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: There is one mens, womens, and handicap accessible restroom in the campground.

Rules: A maximum of 2 vehicles and 6 people are allowed per site. Pets are allowed, but must be leashed at all times, and may not be left unattended.

Directions: From the East Entrance Station: Drive less than one mile westward to Desert View Campground.
