Desert Caballeros Western Museum

The Desert Caballeros Western Museum features Western Art Galleries with a fine collection of Western art by Moran, Bierstadt, Catlin, Russell, Remington, and Phippen. The Hays Collection is one of the largest and finest selections of early working cowboy gear. Native American arts by the Anasazi, Pueblo, Hopi, and Navajo are featured. Gold, silver, and turquoise are featured in a dazzling collection of minerals and rocks. Period rooms offer a glimpse into the turn of the century Victorian homes.

Reservations: Docent-led tours are available by reservation at the Desert Caballeros Western Museum, three weeks in advance, for groups of twenty or more.

Best Time To Visit: The museum is open Monday - Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Directions: To reach the Desert Caballeros Western Museum from Phoenix take Grand Ave (U.S. 60) North West approximately 54 miles to Wickenburg. In Wickenburg turn slightly right, then right on N Frontier St/N Railroad St approximately 0.2 of a mile to 21 N Frontier Street.
