The Deer Creek Campground is situated in a park-like setting and is the most rustic area along the East Fork of the Black River. Enjoy fishing in the area, but please check for fishing regulations.
There are 6 single sites available. This area is for those who enjoy camping in a semi-developed area.

Facilities: Deep Creek Campground has no facilities. Supplies are located in Alpine.

Reservations: Reservations are not accepted at Deep Creek Campground.

Best Time To Visit: The Deep Creek Campground is open May through October

Fees: An overnight camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible.

Rules: This Campground is located within the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest; forest regulations apply. Campers may gather only dead and down firewood.

Directions: To Reach the Deep Creek Campground from Show Low Travel East on U.S. Highway 60 to U.S. Highways 180/291 in Eagar AZ. From Eagar turn right on to U.S Highway 180 toward Alpine for approximately 24 miles to Forest Road 249. Turn west and follow this wide, graveled forest road 5 miles to Forest Road 276. Turn south and follow Forest Road 276 for six miles to the East Fork developed camping area.
