Accessibility: This trail is not handicap accessible. Rules: Closed to all motorized equipment, bike or other mechanical transport. Directions: To reach the Deep Creek Trail from Payson go east on Arizona Highway 260 to Chamberlain Trail (approximately 25 miles). Turn right on Chamberlain Trail for approximately 20 miles to Arizona Highway 288. Turn right on Arizona Highway 288 for approximately 5 miles to Young Arizona. From Young continue south on State Highway 288 to Forest Road 203. Turn east (left) onto Forest Road 203 (Cherry Creek Road), follow Forest Road 203 for 9 miles to Forest Road 203A. Turn north and follow Forest Road 203A for approximately 6.5 miles to the trailhead.
