The 130 acres of Crescent Lake is at 8,900 feet elevation. Located 41 miles southeast of Pinetop using Arizona 260 and 273, the lake is surrounded by forests and rolling meadows. Crescent Lake is known for its brookies and rainbow trout. If the wind stays down, it can be a good fly-fishing lake. Visitors can rent boats and motors, or bring their own, if the motor is an 8 horsepower single or less.

Facilities: Boat rentals and a small marina are provided at Crescent Lake.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted to use Crescent Lake.

Fees: No fees are charged.

Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible.

Rules: This lake is located within the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest; forest regulations apply. Only 8 horsepower single motors allowed.

Directions: To reach Crescent Lake from Springerville, travel southwest on State Highway 261 to State Highway 273. Take State Highway 273 to the Big Lake Complex. The lake is located near the Big Lake Complex.
