Colcord Ridge Campground rests in ponderosa pine and fir with panoramic views. Trout fishing is available in Canyon Creek. Visitors may tour the Colcord Lookout tower when there is a Forest Service employee on duty and have a spectacular view of the rim country.
This campground has dispersed campsites resting in ponderosa pine and fir. This campground is for those who enjoy camping in primitive areas.

Facilities: Restrooms are provided at Colcord Ridge Campground.

Reservations: Reservations are not accepted at Colcord Ridge Campground.

Best Time To Visit: This campground is open from April through November.

Fees: No fees are charged.

Accessibility: This campground is accessible for disabled persons. Please contact Campground host for further information.

Rules: This campground is located within the Tonto National Forest; forest regulations apply. Maximum length of stay is 14 days.

Directions: To reach Colcord Ridge Campground from Payson, travel 33 miles east on State Highway 260, and turn right onto the Young Road (Forest Highway 512), and continue for 3 miles to the site, at the junction of Forest Road 512 and Forest Road 33.
