Chavez Crossing Group Camp is located in a grove of Arizona sycamores and Arizona cypress. Access roads are paved, and there are three separate sites, or you can reserve the whole campground. Fishing is available at Oak Creek. Additional places to hike, sightsee, and swim are within easy traveling distance.

Facilities: Tables, drinking water, and vault toilets (barrier free) are provided at Chavez Crossing Group Camp.

Best Time To Visit: Chavez Crossing Group Camp is open year-round.

Fees: An overnight camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: This campground is accessible for disabled persons; there are barrier free vault toilets. Please contact the Forest Ranger for further information.

Rules: This campground is located within the Coconino National Forest; forest regulations apply. Check in/check out time is 2:00 pm. Pets must always be restrained or on a leash. No horses allowed in the campground. Motorbikes may only be used for entering or leaving campsite.

Directions: To reach Chavez Crossing Group Camp from Sedona, travel on State Highway 179 2 miles east of the State Highway 179/U.S. Highway 89A intersection in Sedona and turn right just past The Radisson.
