Cave Springs Campground is 14 miles south of Flagstaff and 12 miles north of Sedona in scenic Oak Creek Canyon. The nearby stream is stocked with trout, there are also opportunities for swimming, hiking, and bird watching.
Campsites are located in a shady stand of ponderosa pines in the upper reaches of the canyon. Many of the campsites are located right on the banks of Oak Creek. There are several hiking trails in the vicinity and the creek is bordered with paths that lead along its scenic course offering great bird watching and good fishing.
This campground has 78 sites in a shady stand of ponderosa pines in the upper reaches of Oak Creek Canyon. Slide Rock State Park and the thriving resort town of Sedona are only a short drive away.


Facilities: Tables, vault toilets (barrier free), and drinking water is provided at Cave Springs Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Cave Springs Campground is open mid-spring through mid-fall.

Fees: An overnight camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: Unknown

Rules: This campground is located within the Coconino National Forest; forest regulations apply. Pets must always be restrained or on a leash. No horses allowed in the campground. No glass containers are permitted at nearby Slide Rock State Park or Grasshopper Point Swim Area. Motorbikes may only be used for entering or leaving campsite.

Directions: To reach Cave Springs Campground from Sedona, travel north 12 miles on U.S. Highway 89A.
