There are 18 single unit campsites with tables and fire rings provided at Cataract Lake Campground. These sites are suitable for tents, trailers, or small RV's (up to 22 feet.) There is a campground host at this campground. The setting includes ponderosa pine trees, with a lake and a view to Bill Williams Mountain.
Cataract Lake is located in the Williams Ranger District, conveniently close to the town of Williams. It is stocked with rainbow and brown trout and has some nice channel cat as well.
The campground offers dirt roads and campsites. This campground is conveniently located near town, but is in a more developed area than other forest campgrounds. The interstate and railroad are nearby.


Facilities: Restrooms, garbage bins, and a limited source of drinking water are provided at Cataract Lake Campground. Each campsite has a table and fire ring.

Best Time To Visit: Cataract Lake Campground is open May 1 to October 1, depending on weather.

Fees: An overnight camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: The restrooms are accessible.

Rules: There is no dump station provided and no waste water drained onto ground. Pets must always be restrained or on leash. Motorbikes may be used only for entering or leaving campground. Maximum stay limit in campground is 14-days.

Directions: To reach Cataract Lake Campground from Williams, turn north onto 7th Street . After crossing the railroad tracks, turn west at the first road and go about 1 mile to the campground entrance on the right. These paved and all-weather gravelled roads are suitable for passenger vehicles.
