Bright Angel Point Trail is a 0.5 mi. round-trip easy hiking trail. It takes roughly 30 minutes approximate round-trip hiking time.
Bright Angel Point Trail is a short walk on a paved trail to a spectacular view of the north rim of the Grand Canyon. The trail begins at the log shelter in the parking area by the visitor center or at the corner of the back porch behind the lodge.
Self-guiding nature trail pamphlets are available from a box along the trail.

Facilities: Facilities for the Bright Angel Point Trail are located at the visitor center at the north rim.

Best Time To Visit: The North Rim rises a thousand feet higher than the South Rim, and is much less accessible. Heavy snows close the road to the North Rim from late October to mid May of each year. Bright Angel Point Trail is available May - October, weather permitting.

Fees: An entrance fee will be collected to enter the Grand Canyon National Park. There are no additional fees to use the trail.

Accessibility: The trail is accessible.

Rules: Obey all posted signs.

Directions: To reach the North Rim of the Grand Canyon National Park you will need to drive on US Highway 89A or State Route 389 to Jacob Lake, just south of the Utah border, and take Highway 67 to the North Rim. Once you are at the North Rim visitor center, the trail begins in the parking area.
