Beasley Flat Recreational Day Use Site is a take-out spot for kayaks and canoes running the Verde River downriver from Whitebridge. It is also a good put-in to continue down the Verde.

There is a boat ramp but there is no direct river access; you can't back your trailer into the water. All boats, kayaks, or canoes will need to be carried to water's edge.

Beasley Flat Recreational Day Use Site is also a great place to have a picnic! There are seven picnic ramadas. Each offers a stone table, stand barbeque, and fire ring. There is adequate parking along side the road.

Directions: To reach Beasley Flat Recreational Day Use Site from Cottonwood, first travel to Camp Verde along I-17. From Interstate 17 in Camp Verde, take Highway 260 east 3 miles to Salt Mine Road, follow Salt Mine Road for 10 miles then left on FR# 529 for 2 miles to recreational site.
