Albert Loop Trail - Short Trails (1-3 miles)
The Albert Loop Trail is 3 miles long and has good views of the Eagle River Valley, Polar Bear, Eagle, Cumulus and Hurdy Gurdy peaks.

Denali National Park & Preserve - Backpacking Trails
Denali National Park & Preserve features North America's highest mountain, 20,320-foot tall Mount McKinley. The Alaska Range also includes numerous other mountains and many large glaciers.

East Fork Trail - Long Trails (9+ miles)
Wildflowers line long trail, changing with the different ecosystems visitors pass through. Dall sheep, mountain goats and moose inhabit the mountain slopes.

Eklutna Lakeside Trail - Long Trails (9+ miles)
This scenic trail is an old road bed that follows the north edge of the lake for eight miles and then extends into the backcountry. In the summer the trail is bordered by wildflowers and in the fall currants, cranberries and raspberries grow alongside the trail.

Eydlu Bena Loop Trail - Short Trails (1-3 miles)
This easy-moderate trail was an old road bed that has recently been cleared and goes for one and one half miles. It runs through a forest of mixed birch and spruce and provides a good view of the west end of Eklutna Lake.

Historic Iditarod Trail - Long Trails (9+ miles)
This one way 26 mile trail follows the historic Iditarod supply route. Mining ruins, views of mountain peaks, and glaciers can be seen while traveling this trail.

Ptarmigan Lake Trail - Medium Trails (4-8 miles)
This trail is 7.5 miles long one-way, and can produce a wide variety of scenery. The first mile of this trail is fairly level. After that, there are some steep sections up to the lake. The trail around the lake has some steep sections as well, but is mostly level.

Resurrection Pass Trail - Long Trails (9+ miles)
The Resurrection Pass Trail is 19 3/4 miles long, and is open to hikers, horseback riders, and ATV's. This is a fairly level, well-maintained trail that can be muddy in some places.

Rodak Nature Trail - Short Trails (1-3 miles)
The Rodak Trail is a 3/4 mile long self-guided nature trail. On a clear day, the viewing platform, situated on the edge of a beaver pond, provides views of the Eagle River Valley as well as an opportunity to spot wildlife, including spawning red and silver salmon in late August.

Russian Lakes Trail - Long Trails (9+ miles)
This trail is 21 miles long one-way, and can produce a wide variety of scenery. The level foot path has gradual grades, and is well maintained. This is an easy hike for a good family outing.

Thunderbird Falls Trail - Short Trails (1-3 miles)
This is a short one mile trail that will lead to the Thunderbird Falls.
