Innoko National Wildlife Refuge
It's estimated that 130 species of birds use these lands, and that more than 300,000 waterfowl and shorebirds nest on the refuge every spring. Moose, wolves, marten, lynx, red fox, river otter, wolverine and bear are common to this area.

Yukon Delta National Wildlife Refuge
The Delta supports over 750,000 swans and geese, 2 million ducks, and 100 million shorebirds and other water birds. Moose, caribou, black and grizzly bear and wolves are common in certain areas. Introduced muskox and reindeer occupy Nunivak Island.
