Rivers & Streams

Bakewell Lake
Fishing includes dolly varden, and cutthroat trout. Also, from July through September sockeye, pink, chum, and coho salmon runs are heavy. Steelhead fish are caught near the outlet. The fish ladder and 40' falls are local attractions.

Checats Creek
This stream has a strong salmon run in August thus providing an excellent opportunity to watch salmon spawning. This is a true wilderness trail.
