Eagles Nest Campground
There are 11 individual campsites in a heavily forested setting of spruce, hemlock, and cedar. Back-in campsites are narrow and perpendicular to campground road. Backing large RVs could be difficult.

Misty Fiords National Monument
Recreational activities such as camping, hiking, photography, hunting, fishing, boating, continued use of public and private cabins, air access, and outboard motors are all happen within the Monument. Misty Fiords is a major producer of coho, sockeye, pink and chum salmon and king salmon. Numerous other saltwater, fresh water, anadromous fish species and shellfish are plentiful in this area.

Tongass National Forest
The Tongass is the largest forest in the National Forest System, covering a land area the size of New Jersey. There are a variety of recreational activities to do in this forest.

Ward Lake
Fishing for salmon in either the Last Chance Creek or Ward Creek are available. Fishing is also available in Ward Lake. There are three different camping areas in this heavily forested setting of spruce, hemlock, and cedar.

Ward Lake Nature Trail
This 1.1 mile nature trail starts at the picnic area and travels around the lake and is rated "easy".
